Build and configuration
Use the Dockerfile with the Compose or Dokploy configuration in the repository. Configure APP_ORIGIN as your HTTPS origin. Set SITE_ORIGIN at image build time to the same public origin so canonical URLs and discovery files point to your domain. Without an HTTPS site origin, public pages remain noindex.
Database and runtime separation
Run the migration command using migration credentials. Supply separate connext_runtime credentials to the application. Configure REDIS_URL for production real-time events and distributed rate limiting.
Bootstrap administration
Generate a strong SETUP_TOKEN and use the first-installation form. The setup endpoint stops creating platform administrators after the initial bootstrap. Review available plans and the default signup policy.
Configure SMTP
Set SMTP_HOST, SMTP_PORT, SMTP_SECURE, SMTP_FROM and MAIL_ENCRYPTION_KEY. Add SMTP_USER and SMTP_PASSWORD if the server requires authentication. The encryption key must be 64 hexadecimal characters. Ports and TLS mode must match your provider.
Verify before launch
Check /health/live and /health/ready. Test registration, a real recovery email, widget embedding, agent replies and a reconnect. Run backup restoration in an isolated environment. Monitor failed mail jobs and maintain an operator response procedure.
